The political atmosphere in the nation’s capital, Delhi, has suddenly heated up. The Lok Sabha sessions are proceeding intensely. With a strong opposition, the Modi government is facing sharp criticism. To deflect the criticisms of its opponents, the NDA government is bringing up historical issues.

On Monday, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi launched a severe attack on the Modi government. The intensity of the sessions can be understood by the fact that BJP MPs had to rise from their seats in response to the young leader’s allegations. On Tuesday, SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav spoke on behalf of the INDIA coalition.

Expressing his thanks for the President’s address, MP Akhilesh Yadav spoke in the Lok Sabha. He said that the results of the 2024 elections sent a message of responsibility from the people of the country. He asserted that this time, communal politics had been defeated and that the people voted to protect the constitution. He emphasized that the people rejected divisive politics.

MP Akhilesh Yadav first spoke about the election results in Ayodhya. He described the voters of Ayodhya as mature and celebrated the democratic victory there. He criticized the corruption happening in Uttar Pradesh under the guise of development. He accused the central government of spreading falsehoods in this matter. He stated that the INDIA coalition would abolish the Agniveer scheme once in power, as it failed to meet the aspirations of many young people and that the Modi government had failed to create employment opportunities. Akhilesh Yadav also reiterated their support for the caste census. He demanded a legal guarantee for the MSP given to crops and extended this demand to horticultural crops as well. He expressed his distrust in EVMs, bluntly stating that this issue has not died.
