The big-budget film Kannappa, starring Manchu Vishnu, was in the making. Helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, this pan-India biggie features Prabhas, Nayanthara, Shiva Rajkumar, Mohanlal, Mohan Babu, and Brahmanandam in pivotal roles. It has generated huge expectations among the audience with its first look and teaser that were released sometime ago. Kannappa, for the unversed, is a dream project of Manchu Vishnu and has been personally looked after by him at every step for the epic to come alive.
To add to that, the main lead of Lord Shiva is being played by Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar in this high-budget venture. His first look was released on the birthday of Akshay Kumar by the filmmakers themselves, and in no time, it went viral.

In the poster, Akshay is seen wearing a rudraksha mala with an intense caption: “Mullakalu Ele Parameshwara, Bhaktiki Matramu Dasudu” (The Lord of Thorns, but a Servant to Devotion). This stunning visual impressed fans and triggered further interest in the movie.
The buzz for Kannappa has been growing steadily, and Akshay’s intense look further increases it. The waiting of fans and netizens to know more updates and the release of the movie is on. Of late, Manchu Vishnu confirmed that Kannappa will have a worldwide release in December this year, and an official announcement about the release date is awaited.
