The most-anticipated Indian film, Pushpa 2: The Rule, with Allu Arjun in the lead, was earlier slated to release on August 15 but got postponed because of some pending production work. A new release date of December 20 was announced, and speculations have been flowing in if the film would indeed release on that date. Ending all speculations, Allu Arjun and director Sukumar made things clear at a pre-release event arranged for Rao Ramesh’s Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam.
At the event, Allu Arjun and Sukumar reconfirmed that Pushpa 2 would hit theaters on December 6, squashing all other rumors of its delay. Sharing some insight from the film’s making, Allu Arjun revealed that the climax sequence in Pushpa 2 has been the most challenging part of his career. He expressed confidence that the movie would turn out to be a cinematic treat for fans who were waiting with bated breath for a continuation in the saga of Pushpa.

Director Sukumar has now reacted to the delay, saying that they are working relentlessly to bring out a quality product. “We are relentlessly working to provide the best experience to fans. Some scenes are taking more time than expected, and I don’t want to compromise on the quality. Hence, the delay,” Sukumar said. He assured fans that Allu Arjun’s performance, coupled with the overall quality of the film, would be nothing short of spectacular.
Now, with assurance from Sukumar and Allu Arjun, the fans do seem to be relieved, counting days to December 6. It stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead and has music by Devi Sri Prasad. The movie is produced by the prestigious production house Mythri Movie Makers, ensuring a potential blockbuster that will live up to these huge expectations.
