The United States has granted another significant aid deal to Israel as a form of continued support in the midst of tensions in the region. The United States State Department authorized the selling of arms estimated to be valued at $165 million to Israel. This included an assortment of military equipment and support to include weapon parts, maintenance tools, technical assistance and transportations. According to international sources, the weapons’ delivery process may continue till 2027.
This is part of the overall pattern of assistance the U.S. has offered Israel in its new struggle with Hamas. Just last June, the United States announced a deal to provide $20 billion of arms to fortify Israel’s defenses.
