ANR National award will be given to celebrities every year for their lifetime achievements and contributions to Indian film industry. According to the latest report, ANR National Award will be given to Padma Vibhushan Megastar Chiranjeevi this year.
Nagarjuna himself confirmed the same that Megastar Chiranjeevi will be given the Akkineni Award in a press conference organized on the occasion of Akkineni Nageswara Rao Vando Jayanti. Nag also revealed that Chiranjeevi got emotional when he was told about the award and hugged him and thanked him.

ANR award is given once every two years. It is given to celebrities who have contributed to the excellence of the Indian film industry in various languages.
On October 28, the award will be presented to Chiranjeevi at a function to be held at a prominent hotel in Hyderabad city. Nagarjuna explained that Amitabh Bachchan will be the chief guest for this event. There is no need to doubt that Akkineni’s family members as well as many celebrities will attend the event.
