Film ticket prices issue in Andhra Pradesh has been pushing the film industry into a great bewilderment in recent times. Not long ago, AP directorate announced a newly revised GO before the release of the pan-India movie Radhe Shyam just only with Rs 25 hike. Now, it’s RRR’s turn to captivate the attention of audiences that make a way for box office collections.
In such intentions, the director of RRR, Rajamouli along with the producer Danayya are going to meet the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy today to discuss the issue of hike in film ticket prices. Both the director and producer together have decided to ask Jagan to review their decision to grant extra shows and hike in ticket rates too.
Rajamouli will elucidate to Jagan about the film’s budget and the dissipations they might experience if there is no benefit from the poor collections (no hike in prices). When Jagan revealed the new GO recently, he expressed his gratitude towards him in his tweet, ” Thanks to the CM of AP @ysjagan garu and @perni_nani garu for aiding the Telugu Film fraternity through the revised ticket pricing in the new GO. Hope this helps towards the revival of cinemas.”
Anyway, RRR is going to touch the screens on March 25th. So, let’s see whether Jagan reconsiders their request before the film’s emancipation and renders his favour to the Telugu Film Industry. The Result will be out soon.
