AP Tribal Minister Sandhya Rani’ escort vehicle met with an accident in Vizianagaram district. Minister Sandhya Rani’s escort vehicle was hit by another van. The incident took place in Bhusaivalasa of Ramabhadrapuram mandal of Vizianagaram district. Two security personnel and three people in this accident sustained minor injuries. The accident took place while Minister Sandhya Rani was on her way to visit Mentada mandal.
As many as 5 security personnel in the escort vehicle and the driver in the van were injured in the road accident. The condition of the two gunmen is critical.

The injured have been shifted to a private hospital in Vizianagaram and are being treated. But Minister Sandhya Rani narrowly escaped the accident. At the time of this accident, there was less traffic on the national highway and a major accident was averted.
The escort vehicle driver AVVSN Raju, sub-inspector KV Ramana, head constables P Suneel, R Ganapati, M Mahesh got multiple injuries. The police personnel said the driver of the goods van was driving the vehicle in a negligent manner, which led to the accident.
