An American multinational technology entity, Apple has attained more than 825 million paid subscriptions across its services. This is a huge number in terms of subscriptions when compared to last year, which had only 165 million subscriptions. The revenue of its services reached $19.8 billion, an increase of 17%.
The service consists of various categories like App Store, Apple TV+, Apple Music, and cloud services. In services revenue, the company produced $75 billion during the previous 12 months. Apple’s CFO, Luca Maestri said, “These influential outcomes reflect the effect of our progressed investment in developing and stretching our services portfolio and the positive momentum that we are witnessing on many factors.”
Apple said its Apple TV+ shows had won over 240 awards and more than 960 nominations till now. There is a massive rise in Macs and at the same time, the revenues were increased by 15% to $10.4 billion. The Chief Executive Officer of the company, Tim Cook said this quarter’s record results are evidence of the company’s stubborn focus on innovation and its capability to produce the best products and services globally.
With a net profit of $25 billion, Apple posted record revenue of $97.3 billion for its March quarter, up 9% year-over-year. The company set an all-time revenue record for services and March quarter revenue records for iPhone, home accessories, Mac, and wearables.
