In a real shocker for Hyderabadi cricket fans, the World Cup warm-up match between Pakistan and Newzealand to be played on Sep 29 at Uppal Stadium will be held without any spectators. Cricket lovers will not be allowed to enter the stadium, while the match is going on. The authorities have taken this decision due to security reasons.
Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) officials said that they have decided to not allow spectators for Pakistan-Newzealand warmup match due to security reasons. It is said that Hyderbad Police authorities have informed HCA, that they could not provide required security, due to Ganesh Visarjan and Milad-un-Nabi festivals.
As both Ganesh Visarjan and Milad un nabi festivals need police in large numbers to ensure security arrangements, police expressed their inability to provide required number of police professionals. With this, Hyderabadi cricket lovers are cursing their bad luck.
