Rakhi festival was celebrated grandly by Nandamuri family members. Hindupuram MLA and actor Nandamuri Balakrishna also celebrated this festival with his sisters Lokeshwari, Purandeshwari and Bhuvaneshwari. A video of Balayya and Purandeswari is going viral on social media.
On this occasion Bhuvaneshwari recalled childhood memories saying that if Rakhi was bought at the age of ten, Balayya gave only ten paise. After tying Rakhi, Balakrishna touched Purandeswari’ feet and took the blessings. Purandeshwari teased Balayya by saying that he should bow his feet properly.

Balakrishna also clicked a few pics of him with sisters. A video is going viral on social media in which Balakrishna is seen touching Purandeswari’ feet .Balayya shares a very close bond with his sisters.
On the political front, Balakrishna won the Hindupur Assembly constituency for 3rd time. On the work front, currently he is working for NBK109, helmed by Bobby and produced by Naga Vamsi, Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments, Fortune Four Cinemas and Srikara Studios banners.
