Balapur Ganesh Laddu fetched a record price – Rs 30 lakh this time. Balapur Laddu was acquired by a man named Kolan Shankar Reddy. Last year, the price of Laddu was Rs 27 lakh. Then a non-local Dasari Dayanand Reddy got the laddu. Since 1994, the laddu auction has been going on in Balapur. Kolana Shankar Reddy announced that ‘Balapur Laddu is dedicated to Prime Minister Modi.
This time 23 people participated in Balapur Laddu Auction. Devotees flocked in large numbers to watch the laddu auction. After the laddu auction was over, arrangements were made for Shobhayatra. Balapur Ganesh Shobhayatra will be going towards Tankbund soon.
