Miss India Worldwide is one of the most elite titles that can be achieved in this beauty pageant arena. So, many young women and girls try to be part of this competition but to win it requires much more than physical charm; talent and self-assurance also need to be enormous.
Recently, a beauty pageant was held in New Jersey: the Miss India Worldwide 2024, where Dhruvi Patel emerged victorious. She is based in the United States and is studying for a degree in Computer Information Systems. She was elated on winning the title. “Winning the Miss India Worldwide title is a huge victory for me. It’s more than just a crown-it has given me an opportunity to prove my values to the world and inspire others, said Dhruvi after winning the title. “In the near future, I would want to act in Bollywood movies, be a UNICEF ambassador, and do anything possible to reach out to the maximum number of people around the world,” she said.

This year’s competition saw Lisa Abdoelhak from Suriname declared the first runner up in the competition, while Malvika Sharma of the Netherlands took home the title of the second runner-up. Suan Moutet, of Trinidad and Tobago, went home as the winner in the Mrs category, with Sneha Nambiar and Pawandeep of the UK finishing off as the first and second runners up respectively.
Sierra Surette from Guadeloupe was crowned Miss Teen India Worldwide in the Teen category. Shreya Singh of the Netherlands was the first runner-up, and Shraddha Tedjo from Suriname bagged the second position.
Organized by the New York-based India Festival Committee, under the auspices of Neelam and Dharmatma Saran, the pageant has been in operation for over 31 years by the committee, helping Indo-Americans and Indians from other parts of the world to showcase their talents and beauty.
