BJP releases chargesheet against TRS

Yesterday, BJP sought to ratchet up pressure on the ruling party in the current campaign for the bypoll by releasing a chargesheet against the TRS government, close on the heels of releasing its manifesto for the Munugode Assembly constituency byelection.

In the chargesheet, it is mentioned that Nizamabad MP Aravind Dhramapuri, who released it at a press conference, was to inform the people so they understand how KCR and his TRS government had not kept its promises not just for Munugode but for the rest of the state as well. Aravind said, “When the chief minister and his son K.T.Rama Rao come here for the campaign, they must answer these questions. It was laughable that the TRS working president and minister had now promised to adopt the constituency.”

He also asked what stopped him from doing so in the past eight years? Has the government provided irrigation to a single additional acre in Munugode? In the chargesheet, he mentioned KCR should remind that TRS hadn’t kept a single promise that it had made to the people. Farmers in the Munugode Assembly constituency, as in the rest of the state, had not got the farm loan waiver. This is a constituency where 50% of the voters are from the farming community, said Aravind.

BJP’s charges

*1 lakh jobs, Rs 3,016 unemployment allowance promised. How many got them in Munugode?

*Why no clean and healthy food for students?

*Why beer and biryani for Munugode now?

*CM did not seek aid from Rs 10,000 cr Samagra Siksha Abhiyan from Centre

*What happened to 100-bed hospital for every mandal? Did Munugode mandals get any hospital?

*No word on promise of mandal level Ambedkar centres and libraries.

*What happened to the Neera brand of toddy?
