‘Bichagadu 2’ was released in theatres today (May 19). Trade reports are suggesting that the Vijay Antony movie is logging very good numbers at the box office.
The afternoon shows are reportedly attracting a good chunk of crowds in the Telugu States. The film could well enter the profit zone at this rate.
As far as content is concerned, the film throws logic to the winds. However, the emotions work to an extent. The element of the sister sentiment is cliched. In ‘Bichagadu’, the mother sentiment was pretty strong. The element of Anti-Bikili, where rich people are villainized, is lame.
Directed by Vijay Antony himself, the film has Kavya Thapar as the hero’s girlfriend.
