The issue of political leaders shifting parties, particularly the switching of loyalties by ten MLAs elected on BRS ticket to Congress party, has took an ugly turn with Arekapudi Gandhi and Padi Kaushik Reddy. Recently Gandhi reached Kaushik’s house with other leaders and attacked his residence. They created havoc with tomatoes, eggs and stones.

According to the latest report, a case of attempt to murder has been filed against Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi. According to the complaint given by BRS MLA Kaushik Reddy, Gachibowli police have registered a case of attempt to murder. Along with Arekapudi Gandhi, a case was registered against his son and brother. A case has also been registered against two other corporators Venkatesh Goud and Srikanth.

The dispute between Arekapudi Gandhi and Reddy has been causing great excitement for the last 2 days. The situation became more serious as regionalism came into the middle of the dispute.
Arekapudi Gandhi accused BRS of trying to inflame hatred between the people of both Telugu states Andhra and Telangana. Kaushik Reddy said that the Congress government is conspiring to alienate the settlers from BRS.
