Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has made a shocking claim. Chandrababu Naidu said that animal fat was used in Tirupati laddoo during the tenure of the previous YSRCP government. This laddoo is offered as prasad in the Sri Venkateswara temple of Tirumala – Tirupati Balaji temple. Naidu’s allegation has made the state’s politics worse. The YSR Congress termed the allegation baseless and malicious.
Chandrababu Naidu said in a NDA meeting that the previous YSR Congress government had damaged the sanctity of Tirumala. YSR Congress government not only reduced the quality of Annadanam but also adulterated the laddoos.

Chandrababu Naidu alleged that animal fat was used instead of pure ghee in Tirupati Balaji temple’s laddoos. After this claim, concern is being expressed throughout the country along with Andhra Pradesh.
Chandrababu Naidu Naidu said: My government is now again using pure ghee to make these laddoos and is working hard to protect the sanctity of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). Naidu said that we are taking this issue seriously and it will be taken care of if such incidents do not happen in the future.
