Gambling organiser Chikoti Praveen along with several others was arrested in Thailand for organising gambling activity in a Thai Hotel. As Chikoti Praveen has been in news for several wrong reasons recently, the arrest of Chikoti became viral in Telugu states.
Since Chikoti Praveen became famous, his issue has also become a reason for political slugfest. Opposition Congress and BJP have been alleging that BRS has been diverting the money earned through corruption into nefarious activities like gambling and Chikoti Praveen is close to BRS leaders.
Meanwhile BRS leaders have been hitting back at BJP and Congress. But now Medak District Cooperative Bank chairman Chitti Devendar Reddy was also arrested in Thailand along with Chikoti Praveen, proving that he is really close to BRS. Several BRS leaders and government employees were there among about 90 people arrested in Thailand.
