Today Megastar Chiranjeevi is celebrating his 69th birthday. Mega fans are getting ready to celebrate Megastar’s birthday in a grand way. However, on the occasion of Chiru’s birthday, Tamil actor Ponnambalam came to Hyderabad from Chennai and participated in a program organized in Hyderabad on the occasion of megastar’s birthday.
On this occasion, Ponnambalam said, “I am very happy to come to Chiru’ birthday program in Hyderabad today. I have done fights in 1500 films so far. If Gharana Mogudu was not a hit, I would leave the industry. In 1985-86, we were paid Rs 350 per day. But, when Chiranjeevi was shooting, they used to pay Rs 1000 each.”

It is known that Ponnambalam was suffering from a kidney related disease. Because of financial trouble, he was not even able to afford a kidney transplant.
Chiru helped Ponnambalam as megastar bear the entire cost of the treatment. Chiranjeevi helped Ponnambalam by paying Rs 58 Lakhs for a kidney transplant.
Ponnambalam said that Chiru helped him and gave birth to him again in a situation where his close relatives did not care.
