CM Revanth Reddy laid the foundation for ATCs at ITIs:

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has decided to convert ITIs into Advanced Technical Centers (ATCs) to provide better education for the modern labor market. Under this initiative, a total of 65 ITIs across the state are being developed with a budget of Rs. 2,324 crores.

The state government has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Tata Technologies Limited to upgrade these ITIs to ATCs. CM Revanth Reddy inaugurated the Shanku Foundation at the Malleswaram ITI in Hyderabad. As per the agreement, the state government will upgrade 65 ITIs into ATCs. These ATCs are providing education tailored to the needs of the modern labor market.

Tata Technologies Limited is recruiting 130 skilled professionals to teach at these ATCs. Each ATC is providing education to 15,860 students in six long-term courses and 31,200 students in 23 short-term courses. So far, four lakh students have been trained in various trades. The state government considers these Advanced Training Centers as prestigious projects and reviews their programs every month without fail, CM Revanth Reddy said. He also stated that to get a job and education, one must be skilled, and technical expertise is necessary.

He said that we are following the methods that have been in place for 40 to 50 years in education, so our studies have become outdated. That is why they are introducing courses in ATCs that are in line with the AutoCAD syllabus. They also said that they are admitting courses that are in line with the latest technology in every ATC. Therefore, officials should be instructed to take special action for this, and all centers in the state will be operational soon, CM Revanth Reddy said.
