CM Revanth Reddy Launches CMRF Website

The Telangana government has taken a critical decision. Henceforth, applications for availing of the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund will be accepted online. The Chief Minister has taken this decision on the directive of CM Revanth Reddy because online applications would bring transparency into the matter and avoid the misappropriation of CMRF funds that were introduced during the BRS regime. About this matter, a special website was launched by the Center for Good Governance.

The website, developed under the Center for Good Governance, was inaugurated at the Secretariat by CM Revanth Reddy. The decision has been taken given allegations that CMRF funds were misused earlier by the previous government. From the 15th of this month, CMRF applications will only be accepted online through the website HTTPS://CMRF.TELANGANA.GOV.IN/.

The applicants for the CMRF shall attach recommendation letters from their respective MLAs and MLCs along with their details and upload it. The bank account number of the beneficiary must be mentioned in the application. After uploading the applications, a code number would be generated. Based on this code, the original medical bills would have to reach the Secretariat.

After filling in all the details, the formality will be sent online to the concerned hospital for verification. Verification of all the details and confirmation is done; it will be approved and a check prepared. On the check, the beneficiary’s signature will be printed. Thereafter MLAs and MLCs will distribute the checks personally to the beneficiaries
