Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is in Delhi. He left for Delhi on Thursday evening. According to the latest report, CM Revanth Reddy met Abhishek Manu Singhvi in Delhi. They talked for about a quarter of an hour and various topics were discussed.
Mallikarjun Kharge- the Congress President has approved the candidature of Abhishek Manu Singhvi as Congress candidate to contest the bye-election to Rajya Sabha from Telangana.

Abhishek Singhvi has had a remarkable career as a parliamentarian. Singhvi served as the Additional Solicitor General of India from 1997 to 1998 and he was the youngest individual to hold this position at the age of 37.
His leadership roles include serving as t Chairman of the AICC All India Law and Human Rights Department and the Parliamentary Committee on Law, Justice, Personnel and Grievances.
K Kesha Rao, who was previously in BRS, resigned from that party and joined Congress. So Rajya Sabha seat in Telangana is inevitable. The Congress high command decided to send Abhishek Manu Singhvi to contest the ensuing bye-election to Rajya Sabha from Telangana.
