Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has given a strong warning that whoever is found damaging the brand image of Telangana and Hyderabad will have to face the consequences. He told the DGP to strictly handle those who disturb the peaceful and secure atmosphere.
The Chief Minister has voiced apprehension that some frustrated elements that lost power were trying to create disturbances and hatch conspiracies to trouble the government. He stressed that the DGP should take serious measures to restore peace and security in the state. As part of it, he has instructed the DGP to review the police machinery on Friday afternoon.

Internecine fights in the ruling BRS have intensified during the past few days. Now, it is between MLAs Arikepudi Gandhi and Kaushik Reddy over the flag. On Thursday, police clamped house arrest on MLA Kaushik Reddy.
The situation took an ugly turn with the arrival of supporters of MLA Gandhi. The rowdies of the MLAs clashed and started hurling stones and tomatoes at each other. The police arrested MLA Gandhi and shifted him to Narsingi PS as the situation turned volatile. Cases have been registered against MLA Arikepudi Gandhi and many more. On charges of obstructing police duties, a case has also been registered against MLA Kaushik Reddy. The police are trying to take measures to avert further escalation between the leaders.
