Telangana State Government Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari held a key meeting on Thursday in the wake of the High Court’s comments on the demolition of structures under the FTL and buffer zone of lakes in Hyderabad city limits.
In this order, a meeting was held with Hydra, GHMC, HMDA, Revenue and Irrigation officials to discuss various issues. They discussed what should be done to avoid legal problems on demolitions. Collectors of Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Medchal and Sangareddy districts were present in this meeting.
Concerned that their buildings will be demolished, many approached the High Court. The court heard the petitions and directed HYDRA to proceed as per the rules. In this order, the Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari held a meeting today. Shanti Kumari emphasized the need to take necessary precautions to avoid any legal complications.

During the meeting, she stressed importance of coordinating efforts among various departments to ensure that all demolition activities are conducted in compliance with legal requirements.
