Dawood Ibrahim Allegedly Poisoned

In a surprising turn of events, reports are circulating that Dawood Ibrahim, the notorious underworld figure wanted by India for his alleged role in the 1993 Mumbai blasts, has been poisoned in Pakistan. The unconfirmed news suggests that someone close to Dawood administered poison, prompting his hospitalization in Karachi. Conflicting reports emerge, with some claiming his condition is critical and others dismissing the information as baseless.

Dawood Ibrahim, a globally wanted terrorist, is notorious for orchestrating the devastating 1993 Mumbai blasts that claimed numerous lives. His alleged involvement in criminal activities spans drug trafficking, money laundering, extortion, and arms smuggling. Known to have connections with the Pakistani intelligence agency ISI and the terror group Lashkar-e-Taiba, Dawood has long been a target for extradition by India.

Despite India providing evidence of Dawood’s presence in Pakistan, the latter consistently denies harboring him, asserting that he is not within its territory. India, having put a bounty of $25 million on Dawood’s head, continues to press for international intervention, urging Pakistan to hand him over for prosecution. The uncertainty surrounding Dawood’s reported poisoning adds a new layer of intrigue to the complex and longstanding saga involving this notorious figure.
