Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka announces 800 MW Power Plant in Ramagundam

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that they have discussed with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy about setting up an 800 MW power plant in Ramagundam. It has been decided to set up this power plant. He visited ‘B Power House’ in Ramagundam.

Later, the Deputy Chief Minister said, he promised that a positive decision will be taken on the power project within a few days. Steps will be taken towards starting the Singareni-Genco joint power project. According to everyone’s wish, the ‘B Power House’ project will be taken forward.

Tenders for the power project will be called soon. It has been suggested to the authorities to send proposals for the land acquisition. Deputy CM said that local ministers, MPs and MLAs have brought to his notice the need to expand the power project here.

Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said that the people have an inseparable bond with the Gen Co plant here. An accident insurance facility of Rs.1 crore has been provided to Singareni workers. Skill development centers are being set up in every constituency to provide job and employment opportunities to the unemployed youth.
