Plus Points:

· Ram Pothineni

· Sanjay Dutt

· Performance
· Action sequences

Minus Points:

· Narration

· Screenplay

· Comedy

· BGM

Performance: Once again Ram Pothineni impressed with his mass presence. This time also he showed his swag just like the last Smart Shankar in his looks with a perfect Telangana accent. He also showed a variation in himself in another shade. Kavya Thapar is also fit in her role. Her chemistry with Ram Pothineni is good. Her glamour is highlighted. Sanjay Dutt appears as a stylish don in his role. But his character is poorly established, and the dubbing feels awkward.

Technical: The story of Double Ismart is not very interesting. The production values are good. The setup of the film and the desirable setting works are good. Mani Sharma’s BGM is just ok. The cinematography by Raj Thota are good. Junaid’s editing work should be better. Audio sync is also missing in some scenes. Coming to the work of director Puri Jagannadh, he came up with a script that can revive the massy, vintage style many fans have been missing. The storyline is decent, but the execution is not up to the mark. His marked scenes and dialogues are missing.

Analsyis: Overall Double Ismart is an average entertainer. If you watch Ismart Shankar (part 1) and have high expectations, you will definitely be disappointed after watching Double Ismart. Sanjay Dutt’s role as the villain comes across as just another routine bad guy. avya Thapar’s presence is less.
