Hanuman producer Niranjan Reddy who is best known for funding Hanuman, brought the distribution rights of action drama Double Ismart starring the young and energetic actor Ram Pothineni in the lead role. Niranjan Reddy acquired the entire theatrical rights of Double iSmart, helmed by Puri Jagannadh.
Niranjan Reddy paid Rs 49 crores for the theatrical rights of all the languages and the deal is not refundable. As Double Ismart is turning out disaster at the box office, it will bring Rs 40 Cr losses for Niranjan Reddy.

Niranjan Reddy has number of projects in Tollywood. His production house is bankrolling the movies starring Sai Dharam Tej, Nithiin and Sree Vishnu currently.
Double iSmart is an action thriller drama that created a lot of buzz on the internet before its release. However, it looks like the movie lovers are quite disappointed with the film and have reviewed it negatively. Double Ismart is being called a ‘disaster’ and has left viewers wondering about what happened to Puri’ uniqueness in filmmaking.
