New aspects are coming to light in the incident of murder of trainee doctor in Kolkata RG Kar, which created a sensation across the country. Many new names are emerging in connection with the irregularities in RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has already taken the former principal of the college, Sandeep Ghosh, into custody.
Sandeep Ghosh has been booked under various sections of the Criminal Conspiracy, Fraud and Prevention of Corruption Act. He is currently in judicial custody.

Official sources say that West Bengal ruling party TMC MLA and State Health Recruitment Board Chairman Sudipta Roy has also played a role in this Kolkatta ra..e and murder case. In this order, MLA Sudipta Roy’s house, office, his nursing home and a total of four places are being searched by ED officials on Tuesday.
The reports are coming that besides Dr Sandip Ghosh’s farm house, Enforcement Directorate – ED officials also raided Trinamool Congress MLA Sudipta Roy’ residence & nursing home in North Kolkata. The officials are also conducting searches at the houses of friends and relatives of Sandeep Ghosh, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College
