England Won Last Two T20 Matches:

0:00

The first semi-final in the T20 World Cup ended without much excitement as South Africa easily defeated Afghanistan to reach the final for the first time. However, the second semi-final does not seem to be heading the same way. This is because of England’s strength in T20 cricket, which is comparable to that of Team India. Notably, England won the last two T20 matches against India.

Looking at the four matches in total, India won the first two, while England won the last two. This is somewhat comforting to read. However, the excitement in a semi-final match is entirely different. In knockout matches like these, the focus is often on the senior players. Currently, all eyes are on how the two super seniors of Team India, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma, will perform.

In the last Super 8 match, Rohit Sharma, who demolished Australia, seems to have found his form again. However, Virat Kohli has yet to shine with the bat. There is a lot of tension about how he will perform in this match. Playing in regular matches is different from playing in knockout matches, where Virat’s strike rate has been impressive. Everyone is hopeful for the same performance.

If Virat and Rohit play well together, it could spell trouble for the opposing teams. However, this magic has not yet been seen in the T20 World Cup. If they do perform, it is believed that England will be sent packing. However, Virat Kohli faces a threat in the form of Adil Rashid from the England team, who has dismissed him nine times so far with his bowling.

Rohit Sharma has a reputation for losing his wicket to left-arm pacers, a notion dispelled in the Australia match. However, he has been dismissed by England’s seamer Jofra Archer three times and has struggled to score runs against him. If our superstars can overcome these obstacles and take a step forward, it is believed that there will be no turning back.
