The incident of murder of a junior doctor in Kolkata RG Kar Vaidya College Hospital is causing a lot of uproar across the country. The government, which has already issued orders to examine the financial affairs of the hospital, has recently set up a special SIT. The government has appointed IG Pranav Kumar as SIT chief. It has been asked to submit the first report within a month.
CISF officials reached RG Kar Hospital on Wednesday, a day after SC ordered the security agency to guard the hospital promises. CBI has grilled Dr Sandip Ghosh, Ex-principal of the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, for more than 60 hours since Friday in connection with the r…e and murder of trainee doctor in the hospital.

Kolkata Police registered a case against ex Principal Sandip Ghosh. Two days after the incident in the college, Dr. Santosh Ghosh, who was the principal of the college, resigned. But while he is facing a CBI investigation in this incident, the trap is getting tighter with the SIT investigation and registration of a police case.
An official said: CBI started questioning Sandip Ghosh on Friday. Sandip Ghosh has been again summoned on Wednesday.
