The film has Shruti Haasan as the leading lady. Gabbar Singh was released as a summer gift on May 11, 2012 and was a blockbuster at the box office. The film, which was made with a budget of Rs30 crores, collected Rs 79 crores. The movie ran 50 days in 306 centers, 100 days in 65 centers that proved Pawan Kalyan’ power.
