Ganesh Bellamkonda is on the way to scoring his second flop. ‘Nenu Student Sir’ opened in theatres this Friday to a lukewarm response.
Forget the box-office collections for a while, the film doesn’t make any sense with its lame story. The scenes are convenient.
Subbu (Ganesh) is a University student whose first love is an iPhone. He buys one and becomes extra emotional. He calls the iPhone his brother. After he loses it, he behaves as if his whole life depends on it. Out of sheer pain (?), he behaves thoughtlessly. His mother and father are not shocked by his stupidity. Rather, they are sympathetic.
Samuthirakani plays a Police Commissioner. His characterization is generic. Sunil dons a meaningful role as well.
