The Bhadrakali Hindu Utsav Committee, based in Ellamma Bazar, Warangal, is going to organize a grand Ganesha festival for the first time ever. What makes this event truly special is the installation of a huge 40-foot Ganesha idol made entirely of clay. This would be the first time such a big clay Ganesha statue would be installed in the Warangal district, hence its significance as a local landmark.

This gigantic 40-foot idol is created by skilled artisans from Kolkata, using only natural materials like clay and hay. This very unique eco-friendly aspect has now grabbed the eyeballs, as the organizers intend to give a message of environment-friendly appeal through this special idol. Seshu, chief priest of the Bhadrakali Temple, lauded Sanjeev, organizer of the festival arranged by Akutota Sanjeev at his own expense.

It is not just an admirable artistic creation; it is a cultural asset for Warangal. According to organizers, this clay Ganesha could be the second most famous idol in the state after the famous Khairatabad Mahaganapati of Hyderabad.

The local residents of Warangal are elated and proud to host this mega event.
