In the wake of MLA Padi Kaushik Reddy’s announcement that a BRS meeting will be held today at the house of PAC Chairman Arikepudi Gandhi, police have arrested several BRS leaders including Harish Rao. Sabita Indra Reddy was arrested in Srinagar Colony and Thalasani Srinivas Yadav was arrested in West Maredpally.
City police placed several BRS leaders including Kukatpally MLA M. Krishna Rao and Qutbullahpur MLA K. P. Vivekanand Goud and T Srinivas Yadav under house arrest in Hyderabad.
BRS leaders and activists decided to leave for Arikepudi Gandhi’s residence as a rally.

As a result, a large number of police were deployed at Gandhi’s residence. Police were also deployed at Kaushik Reddy’s residence.
Police were deployed in large numbers outside the residence of Arikepudi Gandhi to prevent any unwanted incident as Kaushik Reddy, in retaliation to attack on his house, announced that the party would hold a meeting at Arikepudi Gandhi’s residence.
Arikepudi Gandhi, an MLA from the Serilingampally constituency in Greater Hyderabad, was elected on a BRS ticket but joined the ruling Congress party in the month of July.
