A new complaint has been filed against director Ranjith by an aspiring male actor, alleging that Ranjith forced him to strip n…ed and s…ually assaulted him. Complaint was filed with the Director General of Kerala Police. The police said that SIT would assess the complaint and take action accordingly.
Ranjith is a popular film maker in the southern film industry and the chairman of the state-run Kerala Chalachitra Academy. He faced similar allegations on 24th August, when Bengali actress Sreelekha Mitra alleged that the director indulged in ‘misbehaviour’ during a movie project discussion.

The sources revealed that the director Ranjith invited the victim to a hotel in Bangalore for an audition. However, the young male actor was assaulted.
Ranjith asked him to strip n…d and later assaulted him. The victim earlier thought he was invited to participate in an audition but later realized the situation.

The male actor has filed a complaint with DGP, and SIT will consider it. The victim claimed that the next day after the incident, Ranjith offered money to him.
