Indian cricket sensation Ravindra Jadeja has begun a fresh innings as he plunged into the political belts. Jadeja, who used to make the opponents think with his bowling, has joined the Bharatiya Janata Party. His wife Rivaba Solanki, a BJP MLA, tweeted to say this. She said, “I along with my husband have registered as members of BJP.
Rivaba, who joined the BJP in 2019, has been actively working for the strengthening of the party. She was rewarded in the 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections when she was given the North Jamnagar Assembly seat, which she won.
Coming to the cricketing career of Jadeja, he is from Gujarat and is one of the few Indian cricketers to have made three triple centuries in first-class cricket. International debutant of the year 2009, Jadeja gradually turned out to be an important all-rounder of the team.

Jadeja has played so far 72 Tests, 197 ODIs, and 74 T20 matches, scoring 3,036 runs and taking 294 wickets in Tests, 2,756 runs and 220 wickets in ODIs, and 515 runs along with 54 wickets in T20s.
He played a vital role for Jadeja in this year’s T20 World Cup victory against South Africa, announcing his retirement from international T20 cricket post-tournament. In the IPL, he has been a part of the Rajasthan Royals, Gujarat Lions, and Chennai Super Kings, becoming its long-serving member since 2012, and then from 2018 up to date.
While cricket has been the game so far for Jadeja, he has thrown himself into public service with his latest political venture.
