Recently, Indigo Airlines launched an exclusive service for female passengers. Stepping ahead towards the comfort of female travelers, Indigo has decided to indicate to a female passenger that the seat next to her booked ticket is that of a male passenger. Besides, women will have the choice of pink color projection while booking tickets so that she gets a comfort of her kind.

However, this facility is only accessible to female passengers, who must state their gender at the time of ticket booking. IndiGo has been testing this option in a limited form since May this year, and is now probably ready to offer it to its passengers soon. If put in place, this facility would give women a kind of reserved seat that they get in buses while they get the seats of their choice in flights.
