DMK Organizational Secretary RS Bharathi satirized Kollywood star Thalapathy Vijay’ political entry. RS Bharathi indirectly addressed to Vijay that everyone can’t become former Chief Minister MGR just by entering politics.
Speaking at a program held in Nagapattinam Secretary RS Bharathi said that even MGR didn’t float a party “of his own”, but left DMK and started his own party.
“MGR divided DMK and took a portion of leaders along with him. Seeing this, many people may launch their own parties and dream of entering the Assembly just the next day.”

He explained that the reason for this is that the leaders are coming back as fast as they came to the assembly and the youth thinks that the parties are like empty vessels. DMK has been working for 75 years. RS Bharathi said that it faced many storms and tsunamis during this period.
He added: DMK has worked for 75 years and survived several storms and tsunami.
After leaving the DMK, MGR founded AIADMK in 1972. After that he served as CM of Tamil Nadu for 3 consecutive terms. Meanwhile, Vijay started the party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) in February this year.
