Jalsa will have its re-release bigger than Pokiri

On the occasion of Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s birthday on September 2nd, fans are arranging big to screen the special shows of one of his blockbusters, Jalsa. It is said that the film will have its re-release in a lavish manner.

Several big-budget films are being bagged by Sarigama Cinemas and the distribution company is ready to re-release the Jalsa movie on the 2nd of September. Recently, Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri re-release has created sensation again with hefty collections at the box office. Now, it’s Jalsa’s turn to show its rampage at theatres abroad as well.

Pokiri collected $15.598 in the US from 18 locations and in Australia, it has collected  $3,733 from 2 locations. Sarigama Cinemas has fixed 30 screens for the re-release of Jalsa and more theatres will be added by the time of the film’s release.

The distribution house is trying to give a big experience for the audience at the theatres by providing a maximum number of special shows. Currently, Sarigama Cinemas has also grabbed the rights of Ponniyin Selvan 1 which is slated for its release on the 30th of September.

Jalsa directed by Trivikram Srinivas features Pawan Kalyan and Ileana in lead roles. The plot of the film revolves around Sanjay, a young man, who joins an extremist group after having a tough childhood. A police officer decides to guide him toward a better path and in doing so, his daughter falls in love with Sanjay.
