The controversy surrounding Sanatana Dharma, post Udayanidhi Stalin comments, has created a storm across India. While many have expressed their ire on Tamil Nadu Minister Udayanidhi for his comments, some also came out in support. Interestingly bureaucrat-turned-politician Jayaprakash Narayan came out in defence of Santana Dharma.
He said that unlike other religions, Hindu Dharma is very tolerant and has a rich legacy and culture. “If there are any shortcomings in Sanatana Dharma we should rectify them but do not talk negative of Santana Dharma,” said Jaiprakash Narayan. Jayaprakash Narayan expressed that instead of genuinely discussing about the merits and demerits in a religion, politicians are trying to flare up emotions and using it for political benefits.
