Few days ago 2 women journalists were attacked by residents of Kondareddypally in Telangana’s Nagar kurnool district. The alleged that the attackers were Revanth Reddy’ Congress supporters who wanted to hinder journalists’ coverage of farm loan waiver protests.
Now according to the latest report, journalists of Telangana protested in front of Rahul Gandhi’s residence in Delhi to protest the attacks on journalists in Telangana. BRS Working President KTR also re tweeted the post related to t his protest. On this occasion, he expressed anger against the state government.
Journalist Shankar, Veenavanka Prabhakar, Sunkari Praveen and Lingaswamy were among those who protested in front of Rahul Gandhi’s residence.

They revealed that independent journalists who are bringing facts to light in Telangana are being attacked. The journalists who are reporting on the ground about farmer loan waiver and Rythu Bandhu are being attacked.
They said: journalists are not working against the government, if they do, cases can be filed against them. It is not appropriate to attack for bringing the facts regarding public issues to light.
The journalist added that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’ family members were doing the attacks, so they came to Delhi to inform the Congress.
