Speaking at an event in Chennai to promote the Tamil version of Koratala Siva’ magnum opus Devara Part 1, Jr NTR said: Vetrimaaran sir, please do a straight Tamil film with me. We can dub in Telugu.
Kollywood director Vetrimaaran, who has won 5 National Film Awards in his career, was in Hyderabad last April as a part of the promotional activities of ‘Vidudhala’. On this occasion, he was asked about his rumored collaboration with Jr NTR. He said that he did have a meeting with Tarak after the release of Dhanush starrer ‘Asuran’.

On Tuesday, while in Chennai, Devara star said. “I am asking my favorite director Vetrimaaran sir, please do a straight Tamil film with me and we can dub it in Telugu.”
Janhvi Kapoor, Kalaiyarasan, cinematographer Ratnavelu, art director Sabu Cyril, composer Anirudh Ravichander, and director Koratala Siva were also present.
Devara which has Saif Ali Khan in the role of villain, is slated to hit the theaters on 27th September in multiple languages.
