Kalki 2898 AD run time is reduced by 6 minutes in OTT. Some scenes have been trimmed in this mega blockbuster movie which is streaming on Prime Video and Netflix from Thursday (August 22).
Prabhas starrer Kalki 2898 AD movie released in theaters on June 27 and was a blockbuster at the box office. After a total of 50 days, the movie entered OTT. The different language versions of this movie are streaming simultaneously on two OTTs. But all those versions are trimmed for 6 minutes.

The run time of Kalki 2898 AD movie which is currently available on Prime Video and Netflix is 175 minutes i.e. 2 hours 55 minutes. While only the Hindi version is available on Netflix, Prime Video has Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam versions along with Telugu.
Kalki 2898 AD OTT streaming cut down some scenes. The first of those scenes is Prabhas’ introduction scene. The length of this scene was a bit too long, so it was deleted. A segment where a woman and a villain refer to Prabhas as Kappa (frog) has been removed.

After Prabhas’s introduction, the length of his fight scene with two giants was also reduced. A song is also cut. Beach scenes have been removed. In the interval scene, the interval card was removed after trimming the scene of Deepika walking from the fire.
