Kangana Ranaut’ Emergency is all set to hit the theaters very soon. The film is running into trouble after the trailer of Emergency is released. Controversy has started in Punjab over the film. After Faridkot MP Sarabjit Singh Khalsa and Shiromani Akali Dal senior leader Karnail Singh Pir Mohammad, Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal has also protested against the portrayal of Sikhs in the film. Now the fans of Kangana Ranaut are very upset.
Now Bathinda MP Harsimrat Kaur Badal has protested after watching the trailer of the film Emergency and Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Samiti has also expressed concern saying that the Sikh community should not be defamed by any kind of film.

Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Samiti (SGPC) president Harjinder Singh Dhami has accused the film of misrepresenting Sikhs. He said that the film Emergency should be banned immediately.
Kangana Ranaut is playing the role of former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in the film Emergency.
Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee has demanded a ban on ‘Emergency’, which is helmed and produced by Kangana Ranaut.
