As a result, the KCR family is under immense pressure and is making various efforts to overcome these challenges. In this context, KCR has planned a Maha Yagam at the Erravalli farmhouse.
KCR is often associated with Yagams. Over the past decade, he has performed numerous Maha Yagams. The welfare of the Telangana people has been a secondary concern. Recently, on Friday morning at 4 a.m., KCR and his family conducted a Maha Yagam at the Erravalli farmhouse under the guidance of Vedic scholars. His son KTR, daughter Kavitha, and nephew Harish Rao, along with some family members, were present.

The event is being kept very secretive by the senior leaders, with party activists suggesting several reasons for this discretion. The decision to perform the Maha Yagam and the timing of Friday’s event appear to be influenced by the adverse political climate.
Since the transfer of power in Telangana, KCR has been plagued by various problems. Key leaders in his party have faced legal issues, and Kavitha, who was arrested in the Delhi liquor case, was recently released from Tihar Jail after 150 days.

Additionally, defections from the party have left KCR in a difficult situation, with no clear direction on how to proceed. In this context, the focus has shifted to the Maha Yagam. Meanwhile, judicial inquiries are ongoing regarding projects and electricity procurement, which KCR is struggling to navigate.
Interestingly, KCR performed the Maha Rajasyamala Yagam at the Erravalli farmhouse in 2016, which yielded somewhat favorable results, helping him return to power in 2018. This time, however, some party leaders suggest that the Yagam is intended to help KCR overcome the current issues he is facing.
