Kejriwal Disappointed Again, Stay to Continue on Bail Petition

Another legal setback awaits Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Arvind Kejriwal might have to stay in jail for a few more days because the situation has gotten so bad. The High Court has indicated that it will reevaluate the trial court’s bail decision. As of late, the preliminary court had endorsed bail for Arvind Kejriwal. Looking for shelter in the Delhi High Court against this choice, the state has welcomed a stay on the bail decision. With this, Kejriwal faces frustration by and by.

In the meantime, the Rouse Avenue Court had already granted Kejriwal regular bail in the Delhi liquor scam case. However, ED appealed to the High Court, which stayed the bail decision and sought refuge in the Supreme Court. Kejriwal was stunned by this unexpected development, as he was supposed to be let out of Tihar Prison. He will now have to wait for the hearing on June 26 at the Supreme Court.

Captured in Spring in the Delhi intoxicant case, Kejriwal was delivered on abandon May 21, following 21 days of care. He had to obtain bail once more within a week because the deadline expired on June 2. The Supreme Court vacation bench granted his petition to extend bail by one week. The preliminary court has been told to think about the matter. He did not, however, find any relief there either. He has once more been to Tihar Jail.
