On the 22nd of this month in Ayodhya, the highly anticipated consecration of Lord Rama’s idol is set to take place, resonating across the country. In a heartfelt gesture, people from various regions are vying to present distinctive gifts to Lord Rama. Notably, coconuts from the coconut-rich Konaseema region are en route to Ayodhya as a unique offering.
Originating from Mandapeta in Konaseema, specially crafted coconut bondas are making their way to Ayodhya for the inauguration of the Ram Mandir. Recognized for its abundance of coconuts, Konaseema residents, at the request of Sitamma Ashram in Ayodhya, prepared these coconut bondas adorned with conch, chakra, and divine names. Mahalakshmi and Rama Reddy from Mandapet took pride in crafting and dispatching these coconut bondas, expressing their joy and gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to such a significant event.
Residents of Mandapet consider it an honor to have their coconut bondas feature prominently during the installation of Lord Sri Ramachandra’s idol in Ayodhya. This unique and thoughtful gesture from Konaseema is set to add a special touch to the auspicious occasion of the Ram Mandir’s inauguration.
