On Sunday, the 18th of August, a felicitation ceremony was organized at Gachibowli Stadium, Hyderabad, by the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Kshatriya Seva Samiti in honor of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Many dignitaries from different fields attended the event.
CM Revanth Reddy heaped praise on legendary actor Krishnam Raju and his nephew, Prabhas. He said that without mentioning Krishnam Raju, one cannot talk about Telugu cinema. The Chief Minister showered heaps of praise on the Pan-India Superstar, Prabhas, saying that he increased the reputation of Telugu cinema across the world. He admitted that Prabhas proved the potential of Telugu cinema to compete with Hollywood and added, “Baahubali” would be unimaginable without him.

While giving his speech, he also said that maverick director Ram Gopal Varma was a very close friend. Prabhas’s aunt, wife of late Krishnam Raju, attended the event. Particularly, she gifted something special to CM Revanth Reddy; the surprise for everyone was because of the “Baahubali” special sweet brought from Suruchi, the famous Tapeshwaram Kaja. That picture of the moment has gone viral on social media, and netizens seem to react differently from the day this picture goes out. More so, Prabhas’ fans have been making light-hearted comments like, “A gift worthy of Baahubali’s stature!”

Prabhas Upcoming Exciting Movies
On the film front, Prabhas basks in the success of his recent release “Kalki 2898 AD.” He lines up some of the most promising upcoming projects. Recently, pooja ceremonies were held regarding his next with “Sita Ramam” director Hanu Raghavapapudi. Other than this, Prabhas participates in the shooting of “The Raja Saheb” with director Maruthi. Other than this, sequels that fans can look ahead toward are “Kalki 2” and “Salaar 2,” apart from the long-delayed “Spirit” with Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Of course, whether all these will materialize shortly or later is yet to be decided, though audiences have indeed started waiting.
