Once again BRS working president and former minister KTR criticized the Congress government in Telangana on the platform of X (Twitter). KTR, who shared the pics of flyovers and connecting roads in Hyderabad, said that SRDP (Strategic Road Development Program) works have slowed down after the Congress government came to power.
KTR said: SRDP (Strategic Road Development Program) was a Flagship initiative for developing Hyderabad infrastructure under which KCR Govt had initiated 42 new projects and also completed 36 successfully.
KTR said that an initiative was taken by SRDP to provide basic facilities in Hyderabad during the BRS regime. He reminded that the then KCR government had started 42 new projects under this.

He said that 36 projects have been successfully completed and the rest were to be completed in 2024. However, under the Congress rule in the state, SRDP’s work has been completely slowed down. It was alleged that due to the lack of proper supervision by the government for the last eight months, the contractors were not being paid on time.
KTR asked to resume phase-3 of SRDP for which all plans were submitted & approved by previous Govt. This list includes Expressway alongside Musi, Tunnels under KBR park, Flyovers, Underpasses and many other grade separators
