Telangana IT, Industries and Municipal Minister KT Rama Rao hit back at PM Narendra Modi’s claim that, at one point CM KCR requested him for joining the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). PM Modi made this statement while addressing the public meeting in Nizamabad. Modi hinted that though KCR wanted to join NDA, he kept at a distance, as BRS was not the right party and did not have the eligibility to be an ally of BJP.
Reacting to PM Modi’s claim, Minister KTR, who is also the working president of BRS, came down heavily on the PM. KTR fired back saying that they were not bitten by a mad dog to join BJP-led NDA as it is proven that it has no future. He questioned, why will BRS join NDA, when BJP’s age-old allies like Shivasena, Shiromani Akalidal, JDU and others left for good.
KTR even went on to say that PM Modi is an outright liar and BJP is Biggest Jhoot Factory, condemning PM Modi’s words.
PM Modi has been touring Telangana and has announced several projects on the occasion. Beside launching infrastructure works, he also focused on political developments in Telangana, where elections are fast approaching.
